This year we are excited to welcome special international guests, Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver, of London's legendary St. John restaurant. The result of a joint partnership between The Point Restaurant Albert Park, Melbourne Food & Wine and Slow Food, Fergus Henderson and Trevor Gulliver will be the guests of honour at a series of events at The Point and the Abbotsford Convent during the two-week Slow Food festival.

During A Taste of Slow, The Point's Executive Head Chef Ian Curley, will work with Fergus to bring his 'nose to tail eating' philosophy to The Point. Often overlooked delights of texture and flavour will be explored through Fergus' distinctive food for the first time ever in Australia. Trevor Gulliver will also bring his skills to the fore for the famous Bledi-Slow of Wine event at The Point, Friday 1 September.

One of the program's highlights will be the six course Gala Dinner to be held at The Point on Friday 8 September for 120 guests. Fergus and Ian will work together to create a truly memorable evening comprising an exceptional feast matched with wines selected by Trevor.

Bookings for the Bledi-Slow of Wine and the Gala Dinner at The Point are being taken directly through The Point on 03 9682 5566.
