After a successful foray into the Windy City last fall, members of the trade and consumers alike will have an exclusive opportunity to sample more than 400 new wines and never-before-tried ports.
The event will be held at the InterContinental Chicago (505 N. Michigan Ave.) and the day's events will be divided into two categories: a trade tasting from 2 to 5:30 p.m. and a food and wine tasting open to the public benefiting Share Our Strength's Taste of the Nation from 5:30 to 8 p.m. (suggested donation of $25 at the door).

The Friends of the Malden Public Library, in conjunction with Bob McQueen of M&M Liquors of Malden, will hold their 5th Annual Wine Tasting on Friday, April 27th, from 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm at the Malden Public Library, 36 Salem Street, Malden. Sample an incredible array of wines from countries such as Australia, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Chile, and the United States in the Wilfred J. Carr Gallery while enjoying hors d'oeuvres from area restaurants and piano music played by Ed Meradith in the Ryder Gallery. Nonalcoholic drinks will also be available. Wine orders will be taken by representatives of M&M Liquors, with 10 percent of all sales that evening donated to the library.
Tickets are $25 in advance ($30 at the door) and are available at the Malden Public Library Information Desk (781-324-0218) and M&M Liquors (781-322-0033). The event is handicapped accessible.

Crushpad is hosting its first open house event outside of San Francisco on Saturday, April 28th at Studio 450 (450 West 31st Street). We are inviting existing clients to taste their barrel samples and those interested in learning more about Crushpad to get a taste of Crushpad's global wine community. While we can't bring out the press and destemmer, we can bring out our winemakers, wines, video and whatever else we can fit in our luggage. You'll taste dozens of wines made by clients in NY/NJ/CT and meet some of the most passionate wine enthusiasts in the country.

Wineries up and down Dry Creek Valley celebrate the magic of their valley with wine, food, entertainment, and the hospitality for which Dry Creek Valley is famous during Passport to Dry Creek Valley. Many of the wineries involved in Passport create a theme around which they showcase their wine, paired with food and entertainment.
Passport to Dry Creek Valley is held the last full weekend of April each year, Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Two-day Passports are $110 per person; Sunday-only Passports are $60 per person. You must be twenty-one or older to participate and no one under twenty-one is allowed entrance into the Passport areas.
