Grape Day 2007 will include presentations from top Extension and industry experts on topics of interest to Temecula Valley grape growers. Two-night program at four-diamond Tenaya Lodge resort features wine blending and food pairing workshops, Imagine an oak-barrel filled room - with soft white lights dropped from the ceiling and beautiful Mardi Gras colored orbs of gold, purple and green suspended and reflecting the lights as they glint off the royal purple satins on the tables below - all set elegantly with crystal, silver and candles awaiting you to sit down and enjoy a 5 course meal perfectly paired with a delicious wine with each serving. But first you will sample 8 different wines with hors d'oeuvres - strolling from one to the next and enjoying the experience of Mardi Gras in the Northern Sierra Foothills. The Northern Sierra Wine Country Association is being joined by the premier restaurants in Grass Valley and Nevada City to provide our guests with culinary delights served along with the divine wines of the area.
