Our mission is to introduce people to wine (novice and enthusiast) while at the same time producing a financially rewarding event for wineries, sponsors, producers and the benefiting charity.
In 2001, the partners of Food & Vine Time Productions searched the Houston Metro area for an event that offered both wine education and wine-tasting, combined with an environment that was inviting to novice and enthusiast alike – none was found. Then we discovered that Houston, the 4th largest city in America, is a key retail focus for wineries to showcase and sell their products. After much research, the vision of a multi-day, multi-faceted destination wine event for the Houston metro area was born.
With that knowledge and a lot of passion, Food & Vine Time Productions launched the Galveston Food & Vine Times event. Galveston’s initial two-day event has now grown to three days. In Houston, the Wine Cove & Culinary Corner was launched and is packed with three full days of tasting, seminars, celebrity-chef demonstrations on a Viking Stage and has, this year expanded to include a celebrity party, a two-part Premiere Tasting for trade and a Premiere consumer event.
The long-term vision of Food & Vine Time Productions is to continue to introduce new people to the world of wine. Educate on the many facets of wine, including, but not limited to, agricultural, varietals, history, and much more, while having fun and achieving the goals of those who participate in and sponsor the events. With consumer trends taking entertainment beyond restaurants to designer home kitchens, backyard oasis’ – Food & Vine Time Productions will keep up with the trends with educational wine events.
