Sweet Basil's School of Cooking

Founded in 1962 by ten friends, six of whom were University of Washington professors, Columbia Winery is Washington stateâ€™s first premium winery. Columbia Winery hosts a culinary school called Sweet Basil's School of Cooking, a wine education program called The Smart Palate, schedules a variety of events for its Columbia Cellar Club and offers tastings and cheese events as part of its hospitality operation.
