The World Whiskies Conference is designed for the senior management of the global whisky business and their principal partners and suppliers. If you are involved in, or responsible for, selling, marketing, distributing, promoting and creating whisky then the World Whiskies Conference is for you. The Conference aims to increase your ability to sell more whisky and give you the global tools and experience to do it.

Deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains--an easy drive from Atlanta, Greenville, and Chattanooga--this is one festival worth the effort. No big city gimmicks, bloated hype or disappointments. Along with wines from Three Sisters and other wineries, you'll enjoy artisan cheeses, eight bluegrass, celtic, jazz and blues bands, hayrides, a petting zoo, helicopter rides and much more for the entire family.

The Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival is a national, star-studded, four-day weekend destination event showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned wine and spirits producers, chefs and culinary personalities. Hosted by Southern Wine & Spirits of Florida and Florida International University (FIU), the festival benefits the Teaching Restaurant and the Southern Wine & Spirits Beverage Management Center both located at FIU.

With sold out events and successful auctions throughout the 2006 event, the Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend reached new fundraising records, raising a total of $425,000 for community organizations.

This major event will next be held in 2008, but a "Kick-Off" function will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2007, to begin activities leading to another memorable Charlotte Wine & Food Weekend.
