California Regional Wine Tasting @ Temecula Valley, CA (probdate)

The Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association (TVWA) is honored to host this amazing event for the second year in a row. Designed to showcase the world-class wines of various appellations, our association has invited other regional wine associations to come to Temecula Valley to pour the wines that best represent their unique appellation.

This is a one-of-a-kind event that will allow you to experience the sense of taste and place that makes each wine region so special. Much more than being able to identify a dot on a map, wine lovers know that location matters when it comes to understanding how award-winning wines come to be.

Side by side, 14 wine regions * - from Baja California (Mexico), to Napa Valley, to British Columbia - will pour a selection of their best wines representing many of their member wineries. You will have the unique opportunity to speak with regional experts and taste over 100 wines that express the individual characteristics of each appellation.

Two separate wine tasting events are offered:

1-4 PM - $58.00 Open to the general public by reservation only. Come join us for a fun afternoon of regional wine selections, imported cheeses and intimate conversation! Held at Callaway Vineyard & Winery, your ticket price includes a souvenir glass and an opportunity to taste over 100 wines. Limited to no more than 1,000 tasters. Casual Dress. Adults 21+ only; no babies, children, or strollers allowed.

Regional Wine Dinner: 7:00 PM Regional Wine Dinner. $135.00 + gratuity. New FOR 2007! Enjoy a wine dinner that matches an upscale menu with the wines of many of our regional tasting participants. A representative from participating wine regions pouring wine at the dinner will be present at the event to explain their wines to you. Held at the Pinnacle Restaurant at Falkner Winery. Limited to 160 people. Adults 21+ only. No shorts, jeans, flip-flops or casual attire.

Both events appropriate for all wine lovers - from novice to aficionado.
