The National Wine & Grape Industry Centre has established a reputation for providing quality higher education to the Australian wine industry.

  • Wine Studies: Research, Education, Training & Extension

    Charles Sturt University offers undergraduate programs in wine science, viticulture, wine growing, food science and food technology to over 800 students, making it a major provider of graduates for the Australian wine and food industries. Programs are offered to both full-time and distance education students and are well supported through an on-campus commercial winery and vineyard, commercial cheese factory and pilot food plant. Postgraduate programs in viticulture and oenology leading to the award of a master's degree or PhD degree are available.
