Medical Friends of Wine / Walnut Creek, CA
If you are in the medical profession, definitely join this organization. Membership activities include four educational dinners a year, a Vintage Tour of a selected wine region, a biennial wine tasting, and occasional trips to wine regions of the world.
The Society is a nonprofit, educational organization that is headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, which is where most of its members live and almost all of its activities take place. We have no chapters or affiliate organizations in other cities.
Speakers at Medical Friends of Wine Dinners present material concerning current medical research on the topic of wine and health. A Research Award is given periodically in recognition of significant research in the field of wine and health.
